ARGENTINA 2013

Welcome to Argentina!

Argentina. Our first stop in South America on this trip. Argentina was not really what we had been expecting. It was very much like being in a European city such as Paris or Rome. It had a magnificent vibe with lots of nice like restaurants and places to enjoy fine wine. We could both have a fantastic meal and a bottle of wine for around £5. The people were majority white looking almost Italian. The weather was also nice albeit a good bit cooler than it had been coming from Panama.

Buenos Aires

Our first stop in Argentina would be Buenos Aires. We stayed in a nice place here on the corner of a block which opened out over a square. We had a little balcony and big doors that we could throw open. It made for a really nice atmosphere and helped to keep the temperature down during the day. We spent most of our time here enjoying a bit of a more western feel and viewing the sites while consuming some really good food and wine.

Puerto Iguazu

Iguazu Falls. One of our big natural wonders of our entire trip. It didn't disappoint. Exploring the Argentine side of the falls takes quite literally an entire day. You could even come back across multiple days and still not see it all. The weather was perfect and it was easy enough to avoid the crowds for the most part. It is certainly something that I recommend all people visit at least once in their lifetimes. Getting from town to the falls was also easy as.

We didn't really want to leave Argentina due to how good the food and wine ;) had been. But we knew it was time to move onto our next destination. Shortly before leaving I reapplied for my job and did a long distance telephone interview which allowed me to secure my place back with my company. And in a better position than when I left.
