After 14 months travelling the world in 2013 & 2014 we had taken a quieter year in 2014 to allow us to recoup some funds and pay off our debts while also getting our finances more in gear for future trips. After a few more years exploring Asia, Africa and Scandinavia we felt the time was finally right to experience more of the Europe closer to home that we had so far been putting off for its convenience. Of course in our typical fashion we'd make sure this was never going to be an easy trip to plan or execute. Our aspirations always high.
Eastern Europe is certainly cheaper than Western Europe, but things are still pricey here especially food and drink and fuel. You should expect between these and accomodation and car rental a moderately priced trip.
