When we landed our escort from the airport never arrived, the mobile number we had was out of service
and we ended up turning up at our hotel and bashing the door in. Once we got to our room we had broken
beds and the place looked like it would have all sorts of creatures living in it! :O
Next day was an early start to get to the genocide museum.
The first stop since we joined the large yellow truck was for us to witness the gorilla's in the hills of the Ruhengeri. We stayed in Ruhengeri for 3 nights and were pleasantly surprised to have a bed on our first night with the group.
From here we headed into Tanzania overland.
